Answers:
Customers sign up(register) on PillsCalling.com and create a profile that
identifies who is to receive the reminders, the time of day for the reminders and whether the reminders will be via
Text or Telephone. Then the Customer will be redirected to PayPal.com where a
recurring monthly charge will be setup to pay for the Reminder Service. At that
point you are ready to go. Customers may also setup a VACATION HOLD time period
during which no reminders will be sent.
The system will allow each Customer to setup reminders for one person.
If additional reminders are needed,
simply register a second time on the PillsCalling.com website.
(Note that a different Email address
must be specified for the second registration).
All monthly payments of $22.98 are made through PayPal.com to ensure secure
transactions. PayPal accepts most Credit Cards and other means of payment such
as direct transfer from verified accounts.
PayPal has been chosen due to their reliability and wide acceptance for payment
processing. This allows us to expedite the registration process and start
reminders as soon as possible.
You will need to setup(register) a new Account with PillsCalling.com using your
Email address as your ID. If you do not already have a PayPal Account setup, you
will also need to setup an account with PayPal. The PillsCalling.com and
PayPal.com Accounts do not have to use the same email address.
The reminders are implemented and scheduled within minutes of your checkout and payment approval in PayPal. The
start of the actual calls or texts are based on the start time indicated on your
schedule.
When someone first registers in PillsCalling.com their account is set to a
status of Inactive. When payment is
confirmed by PayPal.com their status is automatically set to Active.
If the payment is not setup in PayPal
immediately after registering in PillsCalling then the account simply stays as
Inactive indefinitely. PillsCalling
customers can edit their Profile or Call/Text schedule of an Inactive account
any time. However Calls or Texts will not be sent until payment has been
confirmed and status of the PillsCalling account is Active. To complete the payment portion of
the registration process, click on the Reactivate button on your
PillsCalling.com Summary screen and as soon as payment is made, the account will
become Active.
To cancel your Reminder Service, simply click on the CANCEL menu item on the
Home page and follow the instructions. When canceling your Reminder Service, you
will be redirected to the PayPal. Website to complete the cancellation process.
PayPal.com will then notify PillsCalling.com of the cancellation.
Yes, you can go straight into PayPal to cancel your Reminder Service
subscription. Here are the steps:.
1.
Log into your PayPal.com account.
2.
Select "My Account" tab on top menu.
3.
Place mouse on "Profile" and then click on "More
Options".
4.
If you are using the "Classic Profile" click on " My
Preapproved Payments".
5.
If you are using the "New Look Profile" click on
"My Money" and then "Update" next to "My Preapproved Payments".
6.
Click on Merchant "PillsCalling.com" to view
details .
7.
Click on "Cancel" option.
PayPal.com will automatically notify PillsCalling.com of the cancellation and
your PillsCalling.com account will automatically be inactivated and all
Calls/Texts will cease.
Cancellation is within minutes. No further reminder calls/texts will occur upon
cancellation.
To reinstate your service, simply return to the PillsCalling.com website, login
using your existing credentials and
choose the option to reactivate your account.
Reminder Services are paid on a month to month basis. If the Reminder Service is
cancelled, payments for the current month will not be refunded.
Yes. Simply return to the PillsCalling.com site, login with your Account
credentials setup during the registration process and you can modify your
contact information, call schedule and other pertinent data.
As often as you like. There is no extra charge for making modifications.
At this time we have a limit of 4 calls or texts per day. Please check back with
us periodically as this may be modified over time.
Yes. Simply return to the PillsCalling.com site, login with your Account
credentials setup during the registration process and you can modify your
contact information, call schedule and other pertinent data.
Please note that as long as your
Account is Inactive no Calls/Texts will be made.
To Activate your Account, recurring payments for the Reminder Services must be
setup in PayPal.com. To do this,
simply return to the PillsCalling.com site, login with your Account credentials
setup during the registration process, and then click on the "ReActivate" button
on your Summary page. This will
route you straight to PayPal.com where you can setup the recurring payments for
your reminders.
Text messages are retried until delivered to the destination's wireless network.
There is no confirmation that the text was read. For voice calls, retries are
attempted until answered or if the call is not answered after three attempts, an
email alert will be sent to the email address provided during the Customer
registration process.
If an answering machine picks up the phone call, or the person picking up the
phone does not say anything, the system will not recognize the call as
successful and will try to call again in 15 - 30 minutes.
If no person responds to or picks up
the call after 3 tries, an email message will be sent to the email address on
file indicating that the calls went unanswered.
It is strongly recommended that the person answering the phone call say
at least HELLO to indicate that there is a person picking up the call. .
At minimum the person has to say HELLO to indicate to the system that a person
picked up the call. If nothing is
said, the system will recognize the call as unanswered and will try calling
again in 15-30 minutes and after the third attempt the system will send an email
message to the email address on file indicating that the calls were not
answered. .
Reminders via telephone will be retried up to 3 times.
If after the third try we have not
reached the desired person an email will be sent to the email address on file
indicating that the person was not reachable. This option may be turned off by by clicking on the repeat call? check box in
Edit Call/Text Schedule menu on the home page when you are loged in.
Current Text technology does not allow us to identify if the Text message has
been received so we have no way of verifying receipt or notifying the Customer
that the Text has not been received.
Customers can set a "Vacation Hold" time period during which no Calls/Texts will
be sent. Additionally you may change the phone number on your account to receive calls where you are vacationing. Just remember when you return home to put your home number back on the registration page.
Yes, Reminders will automatically resume. The Customer does not have to do
anything.
Sorry but current limitations allow only scheduling one vacation at a time. You
will need to schedule the second vacation after returning from the first
vacation.
Yes, Customers can set a "Vacation Hold" time period for only select Reminders.
Not all Reminders need to be stopped.
The PillsCalling.com system will call you back (up to 2 more times after the initial try) and if you do not key in a number 1 on any of the calls we will send an email to your email contact person..
